M309 Mooring for Rent

Mooring M309 is licenced for boats up to 15m and is adapted for monohulls as well for catamarans because the buoy is not to high.It is located at the following position : Latitude 35 18.657 S Longitude 174 07.723 E It is not far from Opua Marina on Tapu Point side ; It is at the limit of the channel soi t is easy to find. It is perfect to make a technical stop in opua for maintenance or shopping, and also to leave the boat a few days in safety. The marina is not far with the dinghy and there is a dock for dinghies. The Buoy is an orange inverted fergie - this means that the height is now around 500mm-600mm meaning that the risk of the buoy striking the cross beam on a catamaran is materially reduced (except for very low catamarans)
